Gerald M (Jerry) Tuckman has 14 completed steel sculptures and is a regular NBOSS guest. He is a resident of both Brookline and the Berkshires (Otis) MA. His sculpture work is in the Berkshires. A long-time poet. Tuckman first published poetry and prose in the 1986 Fathers Book: Shared Experiences followed by appearing as featured poet in 1987’s A Poetry Mag. In 2014 he wrote 14 poems, including 7 haiku, to accompany the Colt Gallery exhibit Autumn Alchemy and read them at the opening reception. From 2022 to today he has written numerous poems to compliment sculptures, including those at the Mount and NBOSS, works of fine art and works of music and dance.
His sculptures would not be possible without the skill and support of Master Sculptor (and friend), Peter Barrett.
Monica Jo Terry is a Michigan based resin artist and creative who has always found joy in expressing herself through creative forms. In her younger years, while she enjoyed an abundance of arts and crafts, her expression came largely through watercolor paintings. As an adult, she spent 20 years working as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst in both New York City and the Metro DC area. That profession allowed her to simultaneously employ both sides of her brain, creating visually appealing maps for cartographic projects support to her colleagues. As they say in cartography, "map making is not art, but there is an art to it!"
Then, in 2021, she discovered incredible geode resin artwork. Inspired by other artists, she traveled in 2022 to attend a resin geode mentorship, which allowed her to begin crafting her own art in this medium. With her educational background including a double major in Earth Science and Geography, as well as a minor in Geology, she was thrilled to find a way to combine my love of nature, earth forms, geodes, agates, and crystals with captivating artistic expression. This artistic path enables her to create intricate, multi-layered pieces reminiscent of the sparkling geodes and agates she’s adored her whole life. She’s grateful for the opportunity to have learned this craft and to begin sharing her unique creations. Through hery resin art, she hopes to inspire others to connect with and appreciate the beauty and wonder found in the natural world around us.

Liquid, languid waves Owing nothing, free, Course their way to me. Cold hard steel (Is anything more real?) Becomes a base, a home.
