Calvin Hubbard is an American sculptor, working in fabricated steel, stone and cast metals. His bold, dynamic constructions blend natural and man made materials referencing infrastructure including bridge abutments, foundations and mechanical connections.

Hubbard has worked as a studio assistant for several well know artists and professors and is the lead finisher at Buccacio Sculpture Services, a bronze foundry outside of Boston, MA.

Hubbard has taught numerous foundry workshops and led metal pours across the country including at Sloss and Carrie Furnaces, both historic sites, as well as the Speed Museum in Louisville, KY. Born in Maine, into a somewhat nomadic family, Hubbard lived in five states and The Netherlands prior to moving to Massachusetts in 2018
